SWERVE will align vessel and data infrastructure to enhance access to vessels, equipment, technical and scientific expertise and data, to ensure greater scientific and societal impact from research investment.
 
Objectives
The core objectives of SWERVE are to:
1) Enhance the communication of information on vessels, equipment, technical and scientific expertise, collaborative projects, data, career development and other opportunities in marine research.

2) Enhance the quality, use and impact of data collected by Swedish research vessels.

3) Enhance the access to ship-time opportunities for researchers and technicians.

4) Ensure that the infrastructure is implemented efficiently and effectively, with care taken to respect diversity, equality and sustainability where appropriate.
